Georgi Pavlov

I’m Georgi Pavlov. I started Health Aspire to help people over 40 understand their heart and metabolic numbers early, while there is still plenty of time to act on them.

Why Georgi Pavlov started Health Aspire

I’m Georgi Pavlov, and my father died of a heart attack when he was 45. For years that was simply a sad fact in our family story. It became something else when my own routine blood tests came back with high cholesterol, without a single symptom to warn me.

I went looking for clear answers and found the opposite: advice scattered across sites, written for specialists, contradicting itself or trying to sell me something. Health Aspire is the site I wish I had found that day, and the one I wish my father had had: plain-English guides, honest numbers and free tools that show you where you stand.

How Georgi Pavlov researches each guide

I am not a doctor, and Health Aspire is not a medical practice. My job is to be a careful translator between research and real life.

  • I start from the strongest evidence: official guidelines from bodies like the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association and the CDC, systematic reviews and large human studies.
  • I read the paper or guideline itself, not just the press release, and I link every source at the end of each guide so you can check it.
  • When evidence is weak, early or mixed, I say so. No miracle cures, no supplement hype.
  • Our calculators, like the 10-year heart risk calculator, use the published equations behind the guidelines, and your answers never leave your browser.
  • When a qualified health professional reviews a guide, their name and credentials appear on that page. You can read the full process in our editorial standards.

What Georgi Pavlov does for his own health

I try to live what I write about. I cycle, play squash, lift weights and do short HIIT sessions, and I keep a close eye on the numbers that matter most for someone with my family history. Writing these guides has changed the questions I ask my own doctor, and I hope they do the same for you.

The one thing I hope you take away

Know your numbers before they become a story. A few simple measurements, checked early and understood clearly, can change what happens next. If this site helps one reader catch a warning sign in time, it has done its job.
